Just wanted to clarify that this letter is from Henry (W)--Wesley Stutts instead of (V). The writing of long ago is very fancy,so it is very easy to mistake the lettering. He was my great-grandfather and was married to Mary Ann Martin and was from Moore County. I am so happy with my copy of the letter, my daughter had it framed and matted for me for Christmas, and it is one of my special treasures. The Sandy mentioned in the letter is my great great uncle Alexander Calvin Martin
