James Buchanan Sturman--Illinois late 1800's

I'm looking for information on a James Buchanan (JB)Sturman. He should have been a young man in the area of Champaign, Ill around the 1880's. We think he was a teacher but really know nothing further about him. He was married to a Sadie Richardson and we think he died in the early 1900's. My husband is his great-grandson. Any information would be appreciated.
