Clark and Augustus Sturgis/Sturges Mo 1860/70

Do any of the Sturgis/Sturges family have an Augustus or Clark Sturgis/Sturges that would have been in St Clair Co Mo in 1860 and Benton Co Mo 1870? I have Clark and Augustus on the 1860 Jackson Township St Clair Co census. Clark shows up on the 1870 Alexander Township Benton Co Mo census with his own family. Clark had several children three had somewhat unique names Nathan,Augustus and Spencer. The Augustus Sturgis/Sturges in the 1860 census could have been Clarks father or brother. The names Nathan and Augustus appear in some New England Sturgis/Sturges family trees but I can not make any connection at this time. Thanks for any help. Ann
