I am not aware of any James in our family. They were all from Broadwinsor and South Perrott and were, for the most part, dairymen. I just reviewed the 1851 Dorset County census for Studleys and found no James.

I have the Family Tree Mker's UK census but it is seriously incomplete; has none of my relatives. It lists 2 James Studley.
1 34, an Ag worker, lives with his father in Cott, Wellington, family 1361157.

2 35, a married butcher, born in Kilmington, lives in Spring Head, Kilmington.

Sorry, Mike Studley
