He lived with Jennie on German Road in Whitehouse, now called Dutch Road. He was the son of Johannes Studer and Maria Rupp. Johannes was born in Schaffhausen, Benken, Switzerland July 15, 1839 and died November 9, 1918 in Ohio. He is buried in the Mennonite Cemetery on Finzel Road, Whitehouse, OH Johannes was married to Maria Rupp(1846-1910)Johnannes (John) emmigrated to America and to Ohio on April 29, 1852. The name of the boat he was on with his parents and sibling was the Bark Huire and it arrived in the Port of New York on June 28, 1852. John, Sr. was possibly the last of Christian Studers children to leave the Pandora, Ohio area and come to Lucas County. John, Sr. parents were Christian Studer and Anna Barbara Erni. All the information is in the book Christian Studer, Sr and His Ancestors and Descendants.
