Studer Family Post Card Photograph
Today I purchased a post card photograph of the "Stouder Family."I am not related to them in any way. The family home had an open front porch or back porch with white spindle type lathed posts demarking the steps to the gouund. The porch and house both seemed to be built of wood running horizontally, and seeimingly overlaped at the edges of each board. The photograph included the following, otherwise unidentified persons:
1. Woman who appears to be in late 50's early 60's - standing at top of porch steps;
2. Four other women from early 20's to mid 30's, two of whom were holding very young children;
3. Four men, one of whom could have been the husband of the woman described in #1 - he is holding a pipe in his mouth and is wearing a white, long-sleeved shirt, vest, and necktie; the other three men also are wearing white shirts, and one had a vest with bowtie, one had necktie, one without tie or vest.
4. There are two other boys, perhaps three (uncertain due to loss of photo quality) sitting to the left of the steps from the porch to ground level and looking at the photo to the right of those sitting at the steps.
One of the young women is sitting on the rail of the porch.
If interested, email me privately; I'll scan the photo and send to anyone who thinks they might be related to the Stouder family.
