This may be William Walton Studdert, a native of Texas, born 3rd March 1903, married on 12 Dec 1929 Margaret Hoyt Bragaw. he was a civil engineer by profession and was commissioned as a Lieutenant in the Civil Engineer Corps and served throughout the war on construction work for the navy in the Pacific area. he was transfered to the Reserve in 1946 with the rank of Captain and in 1953 was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral in the US Naval Reserve. He was awarded various medals including bronze Star, Legion of Merit, Americian Defence medal, Americian Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with 4 Battle Stars, and others.
He also flew round the world in July-August 1956.
I believe he had an only daughter and heiress.
My interest is in the STUDDERT family name and all the descendants of Rev George Studdert, born 1653 in Ireland and died 1738 in Co Limerick, Ireland, from whom offspring have gone to the USA, Australia, South America.
If there are any other STUDDERT's who read this, please contact me.
