Studdards from Alabama to Mississippi

My family is in North MS (Corinth/Ripley area). We descend from the Studdards in AL, GA, and SC. I have the following information: David Studdard came to the U.S. from Ireland in about 1750, with his brother, Samuel, as indentured servants. They would serve three years of free labor in exchange for their passage to the U.S. David Studdard m. Mary (Martha) Ensley. Children: Abraham Studdard (b. 1786, NC) m. Elizabeth ?; James Studdard m. Martha Anna Lemmonds (m. 3/9/1802); Mathew Studdard; Samuel Studdard m. Martha Gordon. James and Martha Anna’s children: Joseph Studdard. Abraham and Elizabeth’s children: Joseph Studdard (1810). Samuel and Martha’s children: Edsamo Studdard (5/31/1812). I lose the line at this point, and pick back up around 1850-1860 with my great-great-grandfathe, Robert Lee Studdard. Robert Lee m. Martha (?) - he fought in the Civil War, so he must have been born sometime 1840-1850. His children were Marion, Monroe, and Frank Alexander. Frank is my great-grandfather. Marion and Monroe (and their children) stayed in Alabama, while Frank brought his family to Corinth, Mississippi. Marion had two sons: Dave Studdard and Milton Studdard. Monroe had one son: Ensley Studdard (presumably a family name dating back to David’s wife in the late 1700's). Frank had four children that I am aware of: Bertie, Edmund, James (Jim), and my grandfather, Joseph Lee. Bertie Studdard married Wardie A. Mathis, and had one daughther, Wilmer, who married Russell Mauney. Edmund married Mattie Lou ?, and had four children: Ray, Helen, Elaine, and Hollis. Joseph (Joe) Lee married Bessie Brock. They had six children: James Lee Studdard (married Sybil Thrasher), Mary Lee Studdard (married Bobby Huff), Rita Jeanette Studdard (married Danny Porterfield, then Jeffrey Huff), Betty Ruth Studdard (married Leon Inman, then Kenneth Richardson), my father, Billy Wade Studdard, born 8/3/1953 (married Regina Shelton), and Phylis, who was adopted at birth by Curtis Brock.

I have birth, death, some marriage dates for Robert Lee on down, but I have to put them together.

I am trying to piece together the line from David to Robert Lee. I have this information that somehow fits in the story. Abraham and Elizabeth Studdard had a son named Ensley. Ensley and Sarah Jane Hudgins Studdard had a son named William Monroe Studdard, born in Ga. ca 1849. He lived in Alabama and Mississippi. I have conflicting stories about William Monroe’s birth and death date and place, but I know he is in my Studdard line somehow. One story is that he was born 6/15/1850 in GA and died in 1926 in Corinth, MS, married first to Dorothy Katherine Evans. The second is that he was born and died in Cherokee County, AL (1850 - 6/13/1918). I have the names of four children for William Monroe: James C., Augustus, Ansley, and Ambrose.

If anyone recognizes these names, or has additions or corrections, please contact me. Thanks so much.
