Just wanted to let everyone know that there is a Stocker surname project that has been started on the Family Tree DNA site. If you are stuck in your Stocker research and want to know if you are related to other Stockers/ Stuckers/ etc. please participate in the project. You can order a kit from Family Tree DNA, the 12 marker kit is about $100. It only requires a cheek swab--no needles involved. If by chance, you have participated in the National Geographic Genographic project and have submitted your cheek swab there, you can also submit those results via a link on your results page. The more people who participate, the more useful the results will be. If you have any questions you can contact me, or check out the website. You must be male and have the surname Stocker/Stucker or another variant to participate.
