As luck would have it, Walter R turns out to be my Great Grandfather. Walter Ross Motz (last name must have been changed somehow), son of Walter R & Alice Cummins, is my Grandfather. We just learned of this and have no idea what happened to Walter R or what even the R stands for. My father did a DNA connection and it did not connect to the Mots line. It connected with Stubs. We need any information. We have most of the family tree, I am looking to find out why my Grandfathers name was changed from Stubbs to Motz. We do not know any of the Stubbs family members.
