My grandfather's name was Bronislaw Franciszek Strzyzowski. He was a doctor in Chicago in the 1890s. At that time there was one other Strzyzowski in Chicago, another doctor named Wladyslaw.
These names make me especially interested in your family.
My grandfather Bronislaw was born in Wladyslawow, Suwalki Province, Poland-Russia (now Lithuania) in the late 1850s. His parents were Julian Strzyzowski and Kazimiera Babianska.
Bronislaw married Adela Maciejewska (Maciones) in Warsaw in 1882.
Adela had been born in Pilwiszki, Suwalki Province, in the 1860s. Her parents were Michal Maciejewski (Maciones) and Marianna Szczepanska.
