Does your family history say anything about the parents of Henry Strouth? I have a copy of the Strouth family history, written in 1994 by Peggy Scott, and there is a story in there that our ancestor was a stowaway and took the name of a Strouth. The story was circulated by an in-law. According to her, we're not from Germany at all. Can you help? BTW, I'm finding a LOT of mistakes in this Strouth family history book I have. It's not worth the money I paid!
