I am related to Strouse's from Emporia, KS... don't know much, my grandfather died when my father was a boy... My GGF was (I believe)O.B.Strouse, son of O.L. Strouse (?) O.L. Strouse was married to Sadie Samuser Strouse who the dauther of Hannah H. Lehman of Naperville, IL. I have a family bible that has this info recorded. The bible was given to Hannah E. Lehman December 25th, 1874. (The is embossed Hannah H. Lehman, but enscribed inside Hannah E. Lehman) My Grandfather (son of O.B. Strouse (I believe) is Eugene "Gene" Strouse married Barbara Jean Fisher, from possibly from Wisconsin. He was a pilot in WWII, moved to Alaska from Whichita, Kansas. They had two sons... Peter Strouse (my father)and John Strouse. Gene Strouse was a pilot in Alaska, crashed in the Aleutian Islands in the late 1950's or very early 1960's. My grandmother, Barbara Strouse moved to Los Angeles, CA after Gene died, with her boys. She passed away in 1995. Any addtional info about this family would be GREATLY appreciated! Thank You. Tiffany Strouse Whichard
