This is my brick wall? As noted I am not certain that the first of this information is correct. Any help appreciated.

1. THOMAS1 STROUD was born Bet. 1775 - 1794, and died Bet. 1830 - 1840. He married SARAH "SALLIE" (MNU). She was born Abt. 1785, and died Bef. 28 Oct 1864.

Notes for SARAH "SALLIE" (MNU):
Sarah Stroud's maiden name may have been Rhodes. She possibly was the daughter of Christopher Rhodes. Spartanburg Co., Probate Record #1228 shows that Sarah Stroud died before 28 Oct. 1864. It is not certain that Sarah Stroud was the wife of Thomas Stroud. The information above on Thomas Stroud being the spouse of Sarah is only a possibility, it has not been proven and should be used with caution. Thomas Stroud does not appear on the 1840 Spartanburg Co., Census which could indicate that he died between 1830 & 1840.
On 28 Jan 1869 the Carolina Spartan listed a Sheriff's sale of Real Estate of Sarah Stroud, deceased.

1840 Spartanburg CO. Census #89
