hi bonnie. was about to say hi cousin, but you are probably several times removed. my mother was mary strope, montrose, pa, and her father was glenn w. strope, of the towanda/wysox area stropes. his mother was amanda strope of mildred/bernice, pa. don't know his father's name. my uncle glenn strope and i are trying to figure out where he and she (my greatgrandmother and grandfather were buried. had to be in the towanda area somewhere. my mother had strope cousins in towanda and as a child of five or six i (we, of course) spent time visiting them. i have some additional info re strope genealogy that goes back to bavaria, suspect that you have the same. would enjoy sharing strope info with you. dwight
