HiKathy

Thanks so much for responding. I do have a little info on the family. As far as the siblings of Nancy Stroop I have Charles, Henry and John P...but no further information on them.
We have done research on the Colbath line, and have lots of info on Winthrop, but it gets confusing trying to figure out just who exactly his parents were.

It appears that George Stroop did have many wives, and many children along the way. I know that at least some of Nancys siblings traveled with them to Texas abt 1848 - 1850.
Recently while doing research here in Bosque Co, Tx I came across a listing for Stroops, thought maybe you might like the info or know someone who did.

1870 census Bosque Co, Tx
taken Aug. 6, 1870
#700
Stroup,Adaline/40/F/W/ 700/250/La
Ephraim/21/M/W/ Ark
Anna/17/F/W/ Ark
(looks like) Fontain/15/M/W/Ark
Oliver/13/M/W Ark
James/11/M/W/ Ark
Brown/9/M/W/ Ark
Columbus/7/M/W/ Ark
I figure with them coming from Louisianna and Arkansas they probably fit in with the family somewhere along the way.
I'd love to have any information you have on George's family
Thanks
LaDawn
