Seeking relatives and info on the Stroebel's (Strobel too)from Jersey City, NJ. I discovered that my family's original spelling of our last name was "Strobel" as it appeared on the ship's log of the ship they came to America on in 1883.
I am seeking info on my great grandparents John and Bertha Strobel from Germany. They settled in Jersey City, NJ and had three sons:
-John
-Adolph
-Otto W.
Otto was my grandfather. He married Julia Hauser and together had 11 children. They lived in three different houses in Jersey City: Hancock St, Cambridge Ave, and Wenster Ave.
