My great-grandfather was Georg Johann Strobel, who married Wilhelmina "Minnie" Sofia Louisa Weisson (spelling?)& they lived in Nebraska. I know their youngest son was Victor Joseph Strobel, my grandfather. I understand Georg went through Ellis Island at approximately age 13, at least that's the family story I got.
