I'm sorry I do not have proof of her marriage date, etc. But the following is an excerpt from a short history written by Charles A. Stringham and Evelyn L. Stringham:

(Speaking of Peter, Anne's husband) 'In 1682, Peter willed 25 pounds to each of five children offspring of his deceased wife by her first husband (see "Last Will and Testament of Peter Stringham"). Records of 1683 show him to be a taxpayer of Jamaica, NY. His second wife was Ann(e) Owen, daughter of a Welsh family. (Some research shows her name to have been Anne Barker, daughter of Samuel and Naomi Barker, of Hepstead, Long Island. The Owen name, however has been carried down through many generations; the Barker name has not. Draw your own conclusions.)'

That also gives me other questions...Who was his first wife and did they have any children?

Some say his first wife is thought to be Suzanna Harcutt Halstead (d 1683), the daughter of Richard and Elizabeth (Potter) Harcutt of Oyster Bay and the widow of Joseph Halstead. The timing of his marriage to Anne would be about right. Do you know more? Any evidence on any of these?
