MISS ORA BOYLAN of Derby is visiting at the home of her grandfather, ALVA BOYLAN.

ASBERRY WHITCOMB has rented the J.A. BROWN farm east of the schoolhouse for the coming year.

The special meetings at Beulah Church will continue over next Sunday. Come out and hear good sermons and good music.

A. SHORE and wife went down to Columbia last Sunday, called there by the illness of his brother EMERY, who is reported critically ill.

FRANK AVERY, who left his old home in Whitebreast Township forty years ago, is now visiting friends of early days and schoolmates and his uncle, ALVA BOYLAN. This is his first return to his old home in that time and while a number of his old friends are still here a large number have moved away or gone to their reward. His home is in Lansing, Mich.

The friends and neighbors of JOHN WILLIAMSON are not so slow as he thought they were. JOHN thought he would fool them and hied himself to Des Moines and was married to a young lady, MISS JESSIE STRINGFIELD, and this part was alright. But he did not tell any of his friends. Now it leaked out somewhere and Saturday night about thirty of the boys made a call on the newly married couple. As a pacifier JOHN brought out some fine cigars and the boys went home happy, wishing MR. and MRS. WILLIAMSON a happy married life.
