Brian,
My ancestor, Malin Stringfellow, was born 1803 in (I think) Goshen.I have thought for a long time that the Samuel you mentioned was his brother- but have no proof.Jesse and George could be the father as the early census records have a boy in the right age bracket.I have learned that "a Stringfellow" married Lucy Malin in Goshen and she was disowned.I think this could be the parents or grandparents to Malin Stringfellow.I think these people are you ancestors, as well.Again, I have no proof -- but maybe they are clues in which to work.BTW-- Malin Stringfellow had a son named Samuel who was written up in a Philadelphia article and he mentioned that his Stringfellow line had been in PA for a long time. I have worked on this line for a LONG time and still can't prove Malin's parents -- if you find any links to your ancestor's parents -- please let me know!!Also -- are you the Brian from the Family DNA project? If so -- we've probably already shared all this info before.
