I have just started on the Stringfellow line to try and get past some road blocks on my Allred line. It sounds like we can help each other out.
I will toss out this bit that I just found and need to follow up.

Bailey ALRED Vs. Samuel A. LOOPER, Jr. – Administration of the last will & testament of Rebecca STRINGFELLOW
My theory is that Rebecca is the daughter of either Phineas or is a sister. Jonathan I believe is listed as his son. Samuel A Looper, Jr married Rachel Allred, possibly another daughter or sister of Phineas and moved to Overton Co, TN along with others. I believe that Phineas' father, Solomon, also died in Overton Co, TN. He was between 80 and 89 in 1830 Census and died about 1835. Rebecca lived a few doors away during this time...as did my gggggrandfather Solomon (b.~1784 in Richmond Co, NC)Allred and wife, Averetta ?, as well as my ggggrandfather, Solomon A Allred and his wife, Sarah Jane Weeks. Previous research listed my Solomons through Phineas but I believe that might be in error and were from Solomon...either a brother or father to Phineas. I have too much to share for this small space.
