I'm looking for information on John Stringer, born in 1860 in Angelina county Texas. He was the son of Joel Zachary Stringer and Susan Josephine Alexander. He had a daughter, Idella Stringer that married Charles McGinnis. I believe he was John "F." Stringer but I haven't been able to find much else about him. I would like to know who his wife was and any other children. I believe he died young because in the 1900 census, Idella is living with the Turner family and is listed as "Orphan".
At first I thought Idella was the son of Joel Z. Stringer Jr. and Narcissa Hall but on her death certificate, her father is listed as John Stringer. He's also listed on her Social Security application.
Any information on John would be greatly appreciated.
