Hello, Will, and welcome to the Strickland board! I wish I could be of some help to you, but have no knowledge of Stricklands of such recent vintage. My own most recent Strickland was born around 1800 and married a Trussell in TN. This particular line was never in SC; from Wake NC to TN around 1803, and then into Al, etc.... However there's always hope someone else will read your post and recognize your family. It might be a good idea, though, to repost your query with a more descriptive subject line. You want to get the attention of someone interested in your specific location, names or era. Also you might want to do some conventional research with census and other public records, in order to take your family back a few generations. That would increase your chances of connecting with another researcher. I do wish you luck! Helen
