It is generally accepted that the wife of Daniel Strickler (b. 1761) was Barbara Lehman the daughter of Rudy and Frena Lehman. The will of Rudy Lehman states:
Will dated 10 October 1767 probated 7 June 1770, York Co., PA. Rude Leman, exec, wife Frena and son Christian; all of Hellam. To wife Frena...., children John, Maney (Emmanuel), David and Barbara.
So, Barbara Lehman did have a brother named David, but I am not sure how this relates to the marriage of Barbara Strickler and David Brown in 1786. I have them and their marriage in my files but they are orphaned in relation to the rest of the family. The only possible connection that I can see is maybe, but pure speculation on my part, this Barbara Strickler is the daughter of Issac, s/o Abraham. Issac's daughter, presumed to be Barbara, was born in 1865, so the dates would fit but I am not able to confirm that this youngest daughter of Issac was in fact named Barbara.
