Issac native of Ireland.Emigrated to U.S.Settled in Ga.Had a son Named Issac R.Born in Ga.Married Martha Ann Harp Born Ga.After he married moved To Claborne parish La in 1860.Where he lived fifteen yrs.Then moved to Jackson parish for four yrs.Then moved to Grant parish. He was a successful planter.He served in the Confederate army as a member of Co.E Thirty-First La.regiment.He also connected himself with the Protestant Methodist Church early in his life,and was engaged in ministerial work for many years.His wife Martha Ann Harp dau. of John Harp a Native of Ga.Descendant of a old Ga.family Issac and Martha Had Fifteen children 1.Dollie 2.William P.born Ga.Sept 10,1850.Moved to La.1860 moved to tx.1878.3.Mary 4.Josie 5.Annie 6.Celomene 7.Parmelia 8.James F.9.Lizzie10.Eliza11.Crayton12.Huey13.Emma14Jennie15.Lula.The Second child William P.born Sept.10 1850 Married Fannie Stillman Their Children were 1.Eula 2.William 3.Elma 4.Gertrude.Hope this helps someone I still need help On Abijah Strickland /Emeline Sexton
