Dear Patricia,You might find some info in theArchives and Records; 1700 North Congress Avenue; Austin, Tx.78701-1497 or the South Carolina or Tenn. Archives at the respective capitals.I wish I could be of more help to you. I feel we are related in some way, but it is such a tangled geneology, I sort of gave up searching.By the way, just out of curiosity, are you looking for any kinship to Wilson Strickland who owned the 1400 acre parcel where oil was discovered back during the Texas/Mexican War?We have been looking for connections since I was a child.I'm 53 now, and have decided that there is no way this case can be solved as no one seems to know where Wilson Strickland was buried.Good luck to you!!!Sincerely, Donna P. S.If I can be of help in anyway, just let me know.
