CLYDE E. STRICKLAND
Clyde E. Strickland, 79 died Friday in the Titusville Hospital, Titusville Pa, following a brief illness.
He hhad lived with his son, at Carneys point, N.J.He was a former resident of Oxford.
Mr. Strickland was the husband of the late Ethel Barber Strickland and was born at Lincoln University(small town in Oxford twp)
He was a retired employe of the Pennsylvania Railroad and a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.
Surviving are three sons. William C. Carney's Point, NJ., Roman L. Biloxi, Miss; and Clarence B. of Titusville, 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren
STRICKLAND - In Titusville, Pa on September 8, 1967, Clyde E. fromerly of Oxford Pa, in his 80th year.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Cauffman Funeral Home, 86 Pine St., Oxford, on Tuesday, Septmeber 12th at 2 P.M. Interment Oxford Cemetary. Friends may call at the funeral home this evening after 7.

A pretty wedding took place at the home of Mr. George Kelly, in lincoln University, on Wednesday evening. February 15, when his sonMr. Clyde Strickland, of Lincoln, and Miss Ethel Braber, of Kennett Square, were united in marriage by the Reverend Dr. Strayhorn, pastor of the groom.Only the immediate friends of the couple were present.There was an elaborate wedding supper.The groom is an energetic young man, well known in community and the bride is an estimable young lady.They have the best wishes of all for their future success.

George M. Kelley
George M. Kelley, of Edgehill avenue West Grove, passed away at 10:30 o'clock yesterday morning in the West Grove Hospital, following a heart attack.He had been taken to the hospital three weeks ago, following a fall in which he had suffered a broken leg.He was in his 62 year.
Mr. Kelley was the son of the late Albin J. and Rebecca Kelley, and was born in Darlington, MD.He was a carpenter by trade and had worked for the Oxford Milling Co. for the past twenty years.He was a member of the West Grove Methodist Church and had a host of friends.
He is survived by his wife, Rachel E. Kelley, and a step-son, Clyde Strickland of Oxford.There is one granddaughter, Mrs Ethel Bobinsky of Springfield.

Rachel Emma, widow of the late George Kelley, formerly of this place, died
on Monday (6/16/1947) in her 80th year.
Funeral services will be held the Thursday from the Eastburn Funeral Home in Avondale, with internment in Oxford Cemetary.
