According to my records, Benjamin Perryman 1824-1901 was the son of my ancestor Richard Strickland and Lucretia Bryant (according to family legend and some other records-she was the first cousin of George Washington). Richard and Lucretia are my ggg grandparents. They owned what is now known as Seagraves Mill on the NoWhere Road, Madison CO GA. My gg uncle Mitchell Williams-I have his notes and vaguely remember him-was Richard's great grandson -dau. of Richard through Lucrectia who m Robert Smith. In Uncle Mitchell's notes, he says that benjamin Perryman was called Perry.

Benjamin P Strickland's children were suppose to be:
1. William Anderson
4. George Washington
5. Richard
6. Edward
7. Hardie

Benjamin P married Julia Ann Swindol, d/o George Washington and Annie Cunningham Swindoll. According to the orginal CSA discharge Benjamin Perryman Strickland was 5 ft and 10 in tall, dark complexion, dark eyes and dark hair. Discharges 20 March 1865 because of loss of use of left leg-caused by old injury to left hip. Enlisted as Priv in Capt Smith's CO A, Moreland's regt of Calvary CSA Discharges Mobile ALA

Can you tell me if this is correct and add/correct this for me?
