I have streif's and bartmanns in farley, IA!!! But mine are a few generations later. Emma C. Strief married Christian Bartmann (my great grandparents). Emma was born 1888 in Iowa. her parents were Sam L. Streif and Mary Durst. I believe Sam's parents were Peter Strief and Fredrica (Fern?).
