Tamera, I could be mistaken, but there are two different lines of Streif(f)'s in California. Do you know who your relative was that arrived in California first? My husbands line that goes out there is from Iowa is Lena Streif. If you like you can email privately, or here if you would like to trade some info. I'm at strftrvlrs@yahoo.com I am looking for a Peter Streif who went out to California for a bit, but in my searches I noticed there is another Peter out there, at least I think he is a different one.
