Dr. Claudius Augustus Street and Mr. Robert Burns Street were the two sons of Zaccheus(sp?) Masters Street and Emma McKinney Street Franklin of Linville Falls NC area. They (brothers) both went to Harvard and apparently their daddy was a brilliant man in the mountains of NC who died young. Grandaddy had diabetes and was one of the first people to use insulin. My grandmother Julia Montgomery Street, an NC writer wrote about it in a manuscript which I have. These two sons were born around 1890. Dr. Street was one of the first pediatricians in NC.
Does anyone have any info on the Streets related to Zaccheus?
