Henry and Adaline were married in Richland County Ohio in October of 1856. Wedding "posts" are listed on the gen web site for Richland county. Ida wasn't born until 1866. On the 1880 census Ida's father is listed as being born in PA, but there is no place listed for mother. She is also shown as being adopted on that same census. I haven't checked much into Adaline's family, but is possible that she was Adaline's niece from a brother? Also, have you checked to see if Henry or Adaline Booher had a will that may list their relationship? Are there any Strayer/Straher/Straker on the 1860 census. Ida was already living with Adaline and Henry in 1870.
