Good point.I noticed that John Strader, too.But then the deeds do show John "Strayer" buying that house lot, and also witnessing one or two other deeds. It's a puzzlement.
While I have your attention, I'm wondering whether you are descended from the Harts of Loudoun County, Virginia. One of my Beall great great grandaunts (Mary) married 24 Nov 1842 Abraham Hart in Morgan County, Ohio.He was born in Loudoun 10 Feb 1816, but moved to eastern Ohio early in his life.
Abraham and Mary Hart eventually moved to Postville, Iowa, where he was an extremely successful farmer, though he died short of age 50 so never got to really enjoy the fruits of his labors.I believe his round red brick barn is still standing.
I note Daniel, Jonathan and Thomas Hart on the early tax lists of Loudoun, but don't know which one would have been Abraham's ancestor.
(I guess I really should have put this on the Hart Genforum.)
A long shot -- just thought there might be a chance you could be from that group of Harts.
