Are you connected to William C. Strasser who lived in Alliance until his death in 1930 July?
He was my grandfather born in Evansville IN 1884
to Paul and Martha Jane (Mattie) Palmer Strasser.
They had moved to Sebring OH in 1901. He died in St. Louis MO returning from the World's Fair in 1904 November. William is buried in Alliance City Cemetery. His daughter Eleanor Burson and grandson Paul are buried there also.
William married Cora Elizabeth Smith August 1, 1905. Laura, Eleanor and Genevieve were born in Sebring. Cora, Genevieve and a boy unborn died in the flu epidemic of 1918 in E. St. Louis IL.
They are buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Evansville IN. William married Jessie B. McClain Ablett
in 1924 in Alliance OH. She had Russell, Jack and Nadine. William and Jessie had no children.
