A Henry Strasser3 was born 27 Feb 1860 in (believed to have been in Crane Township, Wyandot County), OH, and died 1935 (believed to have been in Crane Township, Wyandot County), OH. He was buried in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery, Crane Twp., Wyandot Co., OH. He married Cecilia [Henige] Strasser. She was born 1865, and died 1944 (believed to have been in Crane Township, Wyandot County), OH. She was buried in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery, Crane Twp., Wyandot Co., OH.

John Strasser2 Jr. (son of Johann "John" Strasser1), born 24-August-1834 in Big Spring Township, Seneca Co., OH, and died 1920 (believed to have been in Crane Township, Wyandot County), OH. He was buried in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery, Crane Twp., Wyandot Co., OH. John married Mary Ann [Stark] Strasser. She was born 25 December 1835, and died 1896 (believed to have been in Crane Township, Wyandot County), OH. She was buried in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery, Crane Twp., Wyandot Co., OH.

Johann "John" StrasserIII was born 31 Mar 1801 at Queidersbach, Pfalz, Rheinish Bavaria, Germany, and died 20 Jun 1868 in Frenchtown, Big Spring Twp., Seneca Co., OH. He was buried in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Frenchtown, Big Spring Twp., Seneca Co., OH. He married Anna Elisabetha "Elizabeth" Simonis in Germany, daughter of Peter Simonis and Mary Ann Langenstein. She was born 24 Feb 1804 in at Queidersbach, Pfalz, Rheinish Bavaria, Germany, and died 21 May 1894 in Upper Sandusky, Crane Township, Wyandot Co., OH. She was buried in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery, Crane Twp., Wyandot Co., OH. The Johann “John” Strasser family emigrated to the United States in 1832. In 1833, they located in Big Spring Twp., Seneca County, Ohio.
A biographical sketch of John Strasser, Jr. from: “The History of Wyandot County, Ohio -1894- of Crane Township, on Page 659”:
JOHN STRASER, son of John and Elizabeth (Simonis) Straser, is a native of Seneca County, Ohio, born August 24, 1834. His parents were natives of – [Queidersbach, Pfalz, Rheinish Bavaria, Germany –JAU’34] – and emigrated to the United States in 1832. In 1833, they located in Seneca County, Ohio, where his father died in 1868; his mother is still living and resides with him in this township. Seven of their ten children are living, viz., Catharine, Peter, John, Adam, Elizabeth, Mathias and Mary E. Our subject was reared on a farm, and at the age of eighteen began to work on the Mad River Railroad, which he continued a number of years, but subsequently engaged in farming, and in 1862 removed to this county, where he now owns seventy-eight and one-half acres of land well stocked and improved. Mr. Straser was married August 19, 1856, to Mary Stark, daughter of John and Mary (Walker) Stark, natives of Germany. They emigrated in 1853, Mrs. Stark dying the same. year; Mr. Stark died in Pulaski County, Ind., December 17, 1881. They were the parents of ten children, six of whom are living, viz., John, Marv. Carolne, Anthony, Jacob and Christena. Nine children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Straser, seven living: Elizabeth, born August 31, 1857; Henry, born February 27, 1860; Mary A., December 1, 1864; Anthony, November 4, 1867; Clara, January 27, 1870; William E., July 18, 1872; Frank A., March 26, 1875. The deceased were John A., born December 27, 1862 died November 1, 1863; John P., born July 8, 1879-died January 9, 1880. Mrs. Straser was born in Germany, December 25, 1835. Mr. Straser is a Democrat in politics, and the family are members of the Catholic Church. [END]
