Sorry it took so long but the matter of Hurricane Ike has delayed a lot of things.Just got our power back this afternoon.I think there are several connections between the Watts-Strain-Norwood families of 96 District, SC.I believe that my Thomas Watts (1763-1841)was the brother of Margaret Watts who married a Strain.I have his name somewhere.ThomasWatts married Mary Norwood and their brother James, married Agnes (Anne) Norwood.Thomas was the only one of this Watts family who did not go to Highland Co., Ohio.He came to Texas (through Mississippi and LA) instead.I found a lot of results on World Connect. Some of it is very good in that they give their sources.Through DNA, we have pretty well proved that James and Thomas Watts (from 96) were most likely brothers. I'm sure that if we could find a direct male descendant of Andrew that we could also prove the relationship. It seems that someone told me that Andrew also married into the Strain family...I just don't remember for sure.As soon as I can locate the info that I copied I will post it here for you.
