Maureen, I am a descendant of Sir Edward Stradling b.1389.
He was married to Joan Beaufort, Grand Daughter of
John of Gaunt, Plantagenet, the son of King Edward III.
Also Joan Beaufort's Mother was Alice Fitz-Alan, the
Daughter of Richard Fitz-alan and Eleanor Plantagenet,
Grand Daughter of Edmund (crouch back) Plantagenet, the
brother of King Edward III.
Edward's Great Grand Daughter, Jane Stradling,
was married to William Griffith III, whose Daughter,
Catherine was married to Sir Richard Bulkeley B 1515.
This is my line. And yes Richard Bulkeley , albeit,
born in Cheshire, England, did move to Wales. I am
also related to Sir John Griffith (Wales). The Griffith
line goes back to the kings of Wales. Perhaps this is
your Edward Stradling, if so, Hi cuzzie. Don....
