Peter Stradley (NC - 1820's -c. 1880)

My gggrandfather was Peter Stradley who immigrated from England in the mid-1820's to Western NC. His father was John Stradley who was a foundling child and later an armorer in London, mother was Sarah Wheeler. I would be interested in hearing from other descendants of Peter and his wife Naomi Patton Stradley or from the descendants of their siblings. The records that I have are fairly complete for their generation and for the next (19th century), but are sketchy in the 20th century.

There is no way to trace earlier than John Stradley, but I would be interested to know if anyone has done any research on Sarah Wheeler (who might have been from Isle of Wight, England). Both John and Sarah were members of a Baptist chapel in London and died and were buried there. I do not have the church records for them.
