James Strachan born in Kirkcaldy, Scotland C1794. He moved to Chapelizod, Dublin, Ireland in 1850s. James died on 29th March 1848 and buried at St. Laurence's Chapel in Chapelizod, Ireland. He married Margaret in C1823, her maiden name is unknown, Margaret was born in Ireland C1804. They had 5 children, all born in Chapelizod, Ireland. Their children following#
Charles B1823 died 3 May 1865 (unmarried)
Andrew B1828 died 7 Oct 1884 (married to american lady Phoebe Tucker) Andrew is buried at Glasneven Cemetery, Dublin, Ireland
Alice Margaret B1832 died 1886 (married to Robert Broadbent)
Elizabeth B1833 1 Feb 1888 in Liverpool, UK (Elizabeth married twice to a Edwin Forbes Hoyle as 1st and Charles Faint as 2nd)
Thomas B1844 died 22nd March 1882 (unmarried)
James strachan was buried along with his two sons Charles and Thomas.
James' daughter Alice Margaret was my Great Great Great Great Grandmother. Alice was married to Robert Broadbent.
I have few photos of Alice Margaret and Robert Broadbent including James' headstone. The Strachan family were connected to well known Broadbent family of Dublin.
So I am looking for James' parents and his siblings, its very possible they all were born in Kirkcaldy area. And I would love to know James' wife Margaret's maiden name.
