Thurman Stowe of Marlboro, Mass & Dau Fanny Stowe, early to mid 1800s

My g g grandmother was Fannie(Fanny)Stowe who married Robert Glass Vance in 1861 in Kentucky, probably Middletown, KY. She was born abt 1838 and in my Vance Family genealogy notes belonging to my great grandmother dating back to 1920, it says that Fannie Stowe was from Boston, Mass. In the book "Kentucky: A History of the State" by Battle, Perrin, & Kniffin, 6th ed. 1887. it states that Miss Fannie Stowe was the daughter of Thurman Stowe of Marlboro, Mass. I cannot find anything on a Thurman Stowe in the Mass Census from any year or in any search of any kind. Fannie Stowe died in Shelby County, KY about 1900. I can't find where she was burried or anything on her Stowe family. The only clue I know is that there has to be a Phebe Stowe in her line because my aunt was named Phebe Stowe Vance after a relative of Fannie's. Does anyone recognize Thurman Stowe with a daughter Fanny or Fannie? No idea who Thurman's wife was. Thank you for your help. ~Lisa Crawford
