Yes, this is what I have also. Mary is refered to as Mary Ann in the Houston County History Book article on the Stowes, and I think she is the same person that is listed as Elizabeth in 1850 and as Mary, in 1860. On later census data as a Hague, she is listed as Mary E., as well as Mary E. in the cemetery book. Mary and John Hague's son, Charlie H. Hague, is buried at Rice Cemetery. Thank you very much for taking time to answer this message. I am more convinced than ever, that the Mary E., who married John Hague WAS Joel W. Stowe's daughter. Her name probably was Mary Elizabeth, not Mary Ann. Thank you, you have been most helpful.
