According to legend, there were three Stow/e brothers that got off the boat in Yorktown VA and one of them headed up to New England, the other two staying in the VA/NC area. Other than that, I have found no link from my family to the New England Stowes. My Stowe ancestry dead-ends at William Stow who died before 1731 in the Prince George County VA area.
