Further research has revealed that Joel Stover was actually Charity Francisco Warner's son-in-law. He married her daughter, Ella Adelaide Warner the previous year (she was just 13 at the time of the marriage) and the Harry Stover listed is their son. Joel's full name was actually Edward Joel Stover. He was born in February, 1860 in Michigan to John Stover and Amanda RICE. John Stover was born circa 1820 in Canada and died before 1880, most likely in Cass Co., MI. The couple had three sons...of which Joel was the eldest. Joel, Ella and family can also be found in the 1900 US Census living in Concord Twp. Elkhart Co.,IN. Joel and his two brothers, Albert C. Stover and Delmer Stover were all living in Nebraska at one point. While Joel and his family chose to return to Indiana, Albert and Delmer remained in Nebraska. They are enumerated in the 1900 US Census for Otoe Co. and Lancaster Co., respectively.

I have more than a passing interest in the Stover family because several of my Francisco, VanDerCook and Weatherwax collateral lines intermarried with descendants of John Michael and Anna Barbara (Stover) OVERACKER.
