Caroline E. Stovall married Thomas H. Wood in Williamson County, TN on September 20, 1869.
Bondsman: John B. McEwen
Does anyone have info on this family? I believe that Caroline E. Stovall is the daughter of Caleb Stovall and Lydia Jefferson.
George Martin Stovall (spelled Stowell in the 1870 Census Record) who I believe is her brother was living with a McEwen family in the 1870 census.
The deed for the McEwen Methodist Church in Fernvale, TN shows George Martin Stovall's brother Thomas Stovall as a trustee of the church so we definately have some sort of connection with the McEwen family.
