Elizabeth the wife of James Stout is believed to be a Truax. Her father may have been Abraham Du Trieux (1632-1662) and wife Hester. James Stout and Elizabeth had a daughter Penelope born 20 May 1700 In NJ (either Middletown or Freehold. Penelope married first Thomas Jewell (abt.1717) His father was George Jewell and Sarah of Elizabethtown, NJ. Thomas was born 1694 and died 1727 in Amwell, Hunterdon, NJ. Penelope Stout's daughter Sarah who married William Parke was the daughter of Thomas Jewell not William Merrill. William Parke (17 May 1711 to 1754 was the son of Dr. Roger Parke Jr.(abt 1684-1755) and Susanna Robinson. Dr. Roger Parke Jr was the son of Roger Parke Sr. (c.1648-1731)and Ann Patison(1658-1731.
