Stouts in Louisiana

I keep looking through the pages, and from most the posts I've come across, most of you guys seem to have Stout relatives that live in the mid-west and Eastern Sea Board. However, I'm looking for a different family (or perhaps simply just another side of the family) that's been living in Louisiana since at least the 1700's.

The Stout family is this region is of strong Cajun/French descent and probably made a living on farming. My grandfather, Harold Stout (1924-), was one of ten children. His father, Louis Stout(1893-1969), married Marie Arceneaux(1892-1988).

(I'm sorry, but I cannot give anymore information right now. I do not have the documentation with me at the moment.)

Does anyone know anything about this branch of the Stout family? Information would be greatly appreciated.
