I have a large Stottlemyer tree, but need more information to look your people up in my database. My eldest ancestor in the Stottlemyer line is also David Stadelmayer, b. abt 1730 in Munich Germany, Died Feb 1791 in Middletown, Frederick County, MD. He married Mary Magdaline Dewitt, who died abt 1813. David came to America on August 11, 1750 on the Ship Patience, David is also shown on the 1750 Colonial America, 1607-1789 PA Census Index.

History of Frederick County Maryland, by T.J. C. Williams, in volume II reports David was born & educated in Munich and that he had 5 children.

I have his children as Elizabeth, Hamilton Jefferson, Benjamin, Jacob, Maru Ann Catherine, Eva Magdalena, Catherine Elizabeth, George Sr, John, Dewalt (or Duvault) b 1756, David Jr. b. abt 1766, and Joseph b. 1797.

From the information you provided, I am unable to look up your names in my database. Could you provide parents or dates of birth/death or spouse??

If not, I should point you to Better Lusk's book, she can be reached at franklusk@juno.com. She just published the book (I think in 2000) so it has current descendants.

Best of luck,
Michelle
