I did some looking but didn't find much.
From the Ohio death records index:
Dallas Richard Stotler was born 22 May 1931 in
Champaign County,Ohio
Death Date: 13 Feb 1997
Death Time: 4:00 PM
Hospital of Death: Piqua Mem Med Center
City of Death: Piqua
County of Death: Miami
FATHER'S SURNAME: Stotler
Mother's Maiden Name: Cox
The only Stotler/Cox marriage record I found was of a John D. S. Stotler to Esther Olive Cox 27 Jul 1921 Marion County Indiana. I didn't find either of them in the 1930 census. The census records after 1930 are not yet public.
I didn't find any Stotler families in Champaign County Ohio in 1930.
If you get a copy of the death certificate of Dallas it should list his parent's full names and then the census records can be searched again.
