Edward Storey, John & Elizabeth Storey, Henrico, Amelia, Chesterfield, VA, 1700s

I'm looking for information on the family of John Storey and Elizabeth (perhaps Russell) of Amelia, Henrico, and Chesterfield counties in Virginia in the early to mid-1700s. They appear to have had a son named Edward. Here is what I've pieced together:

12 Aug 1737 Amelia Co., VA. Anne Russell, William Russell, Hannah Rudd, Elizabeth Story, and John Story made oath they had no allowance for persons imported to the colony of Virginia. Some researchers, including me, believe that this concerns a family of a mother and children, with Anne Russell being the mother (since she is named first), and William Russell, Hannah Rudd, and Elizabeth Storey being the children. The assumption is that John Storey was married to Elizabeth. Hannah Rudd was married to John Rudd, Jr., of Henrico and Chesterfield counties, VA. [Extracted from the first court order book of Amelia Co., VA.]

Hannah Rudd was the mother of Jane Rudd, who married Simcock Cannon and named a son Russell Cannon. The 1771 will of Hannah Rudd in Chesterfield County names nephew Edward Story. It is possible that his parents had died by this time, but I have no further information on them. Hannah Rudd's will is in Chesterfield Co., VA, Will Book 2:174. Since the nephew Edward Story is named, it appears that Hannah had a sister who married a Story (Storey/Storie).

John & Elizabeth Storey would have been born probably before 1716 since they were married by 1737. I know of no other children than Edward, whom I have assumed was born about 1735/1745. I have seen information on Genforum.com and WorldConnect at www.rootsweb.ancestry.com about an Edward Storey who was born 9 Oct 1756 in Chesterfield Co., VA, and married Joicy Bates sampson on 8 Aug 1775 in Chesterfield Co. I have thought he was too young to be the son of John and Elizabeth Storey, but perhaps that is wrong, and he was their son. If not, perhaps he was their grandson.

The following records may or may not refer to John Storey or Elizabeth Storey:

03 Nov 1735 Henrico Co., VA. Lewis Tanner of Amelia Co to John Storer [Storey?] of Henrico Co ... land bounded Walter Scott, Francis Worsham, Charles Worsham and John Ferguson on north side of Appomattox River. [1]
